Job summary

Trant is seeking a capable Site Manager to lead day-to-day operations on grid-related projects in the UK. You will ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget, coordinating with engineering and commissioning teams while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires proven site leadership, effective stakeholder management, and a strong commitment to SHEQ compliance across all activities. Hybrid working and company benefits are available as part of the package.

Qualifications

• SMSTS or equivalent certification required.
• Proven experience as Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager in energy/grid projects.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Track record delivering projects on programme, budget and quality.
• Strong health, safety and environmental compliance experience on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure safe, compliant delivery of construction and installation works.
• Oversee site resources, plant and materials.
• Maintain quality inspections and defect management.
• Provide regular progress reports and risk mitigations.
