Job summary

ERSG Ltd is seeking a Grid Manager to oversee the Grid Connection process across the UK and overseas. You will manage the interconnection lifecycle from development through operations, ensure compliance with grid standards, and support the delivery team, including budget control and contractor coordination.

The role requires a degree in Power Systems or Electrical Engineering and the right to work in the United Kingdom. A strong bonus scheme and pension plan are noted in the package.

ersg is working with a Renewable Energy business to support them in their search for a Grid Manager. This role will see you oversee their Grid Connection process across the UK and overseas (local talent will manage the relationship with DNOs etc.).

Core responsibilities will see you managing the interconnection process throughout the project development lifecycle (through to operations), ensuring the delivery of projects in accordance with local grid standards and code, supporting the development and delivery team throughout the project lifecycle, budgetary control, working with third-party contractors to ensure construction and commissioning of projects.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to manage all internal and external stakeholders (Head of Delivery, Project Managers, Subcontractors (EPC, BoP), TSOs, DNOs etc.).

Applicants MUST possess a degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline. You MUST also have the Right to Work in the United Kingdom.

Salary is dependent upon experience but includes a good bonus scheme, and a strong pension plan.
