We’re working with a forward-thinking renewable energy developer scaling out their UK battery storage portfolio. They’re now hiring a Grid Manager to lead the charge on network strategy, grid applications, and connection delivery for multiple BESS and co-located projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading grid connection strategy and delivery across DNO and NGESO networks

• Preparing and managing G99, DRC, and related applications

• Analysing constraint/capacity data to identify viable connection points

• Supporting land acquisition and project development teams with grid feasibility inputs

• Managing communication with DNOs, NGESO, and consultants

• Keeping up to date with policy changes, connection reform, and industry engagement

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in grid connection (solar, wind, BESS preferred)

• Strong understanding of G99, DNO/NGESO processes, and UK network design

• Skilled in interpreting heatmaps, curtailment risk, and grid data

• Confident communicator with internal teams and external stakeholders

• Experience across both early-stage feasibility and post-acceptance grid offer management
