Job summary

Baker Street Recruitment is supporting a global consultancy delivering engineering and environmental solutions for major infrastructure projects. They are delivering a utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) project in the UK and seek an experienced Project Manager to guide the final delivery with a focus on coordination, stakeholder management, and NGET processes.

The role offers flexibility in contract structure, base location, and working pattern, with preference for a part-time

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering utility-scale Solar, BESS or grid-connected energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of NGET processes and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience through construction, commissioning, energisation and handover phases.
• Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of utility-scale Solar and BESS through late-stage construction and grid connection.
• Coordinate interfaces between project stakeholders, contractors, consultants and National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET).
• Coordinate technical, programme and compliance activities associated with energisation and grid readiness.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, constraints and programme impacts.
• Provide pragmatic project leadership during a critical phase of delivery.
