Job summary

A leading company in renewable energy seeks a Grid Compliance Engineer to ensure compliance with connection requirements and manage interfaces during project phases. You will leverage your expertise in Grid Code and contribute to technical documentation while participating in overall project management. This remote position requires occasional site visits and offers a contract until December 2025.

Job description

Location: REMOTE with occasional site visits and monthly team meetings

Contract Type: Until 31st December 2025, subject to extension

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days

Role Overview

As a Grid Compliance Engineer, you will support renewable energy projects by ensuring compliance with connection requirements, maintaining expertise in distribution and transmission standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage compliance interfaces with NESO, TO, and DNO across project phases
• Handle BMU and metering registration processes
• Produce and review technical documentation and external reports
• Manage project reports and tools

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in renewable energy projects
• Knowledge of Grid Code and Grid Compliance
• Understanding of electrical system studies and EMT/RMS models
• Experience managing risks in renewables
