Qualifications

Greggs Customer Team Member Fairfield (SPAR)

Minimum 16 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.

Various shifts available starting at 6am, including weekends.

About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Greggs Customer Team Member / Bakery Assistant who is motivated, friendly, hands-on, and passionate about providing excellent service and standards to our customers. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will assist in maximising sales and profit by carrying out allocated tasks, contributing to the continuous improvement of the store and staff, and delivering friendly, efficient service to customers, colleagues, and visitors.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Preparing hot and cold food for customers.
• Managing ovens when cooking hot food items.
• Understanding menu items and explaining options to customers.
• Neatly wrapping and presenting food according to orders.
• Re-stocking sandwiches to ensure sufficient supply during operational hours.
• Using the till to record orders, process payments, and give correct change.
• Following all Greggs and company operating processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhering to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food storage, preparation, and service.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred.
• Understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities.
• Ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
