Job Description:

Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for creating inspiring spaces for Amazonians. The team manages Amazon’s corporate offices in over 60 countries, providing expertise in real estate transactions, space planning, design, construction, capital investment, facility maintenance, and operations, all aimed at enhancing the employee experience and fostering Amazon’s culture.

Join our dynamic GREF communications team in a role offering growth and innovation. As the regional communications lead across EMEA, you'll be the key liaison for multiple European countries, coordinating and delivering communications across diverse markets. You'll help shape our communication strategies and establish new ways of working, ideal for adaptable professionals who thrive in ambiguity and enjoy collaborative problem-solving.

Your work will directly impact thousands of Amazon employees by communicating operational information, such as office moves and new commute options. You'll also support executive communications for GREF leadership, gaining insight into high-level strategic decisions. This role requires strategic thinking and hands-on execution, offering a diverse range of responsibilities in a rapidly growing team.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement customer communication and engagement plans, approaches, and tools.
  2. Manage internal tools and communication channels (e.g., wikis, posters, presentations).
  3. Serve as SME and strategic contributor for post-move engagements, focus groups, or pulse initiatives.
  4. Review regional GREF communication channels for consistency, standards, and visibility; create templates, oversee content, and target audiences.
  5. Collaborate with all EMEA GREF service lines to evolve communication plans, coordinate efforts, and contribute to change management.
  6. Measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly.
  7. Drive innovative solutions and best practices in customer-facing and internal communications.
  8. Coordinate with PR, HR, Branding, and Legal teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
  9. Align communication approaches with APAC and AMER teams for global consistency.
  10. Provide executive communication support to the Regional Portfolio Director and support regional employee engagement initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or Communications.
  • Significant experience in managing employee-facing, local, and global corporate communications across diverse geographies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in workplace and employee engagement communications.
  • Experience in program and project management, including change management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and policymakers.
  • Skills in Digital Marketing, campaign management, and brand recognition.
  • Ability to travel regularly to engage with remote teams.
