Qualifications

• Experience working outdoors throughout all seasons, preferably on a golf course is advantageous.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and operate necessary equipment.
• Driving license is desirable but not essential.

Golf Course Maintenance Staff

To carry out golf course maintenance duties, as directed, ensuring that the courses are at all times presented in the best possible condition. Assisting with all main duties during the high season of golf.

Job Functions:

• Cutting all playing surfaces, setting up the golf course, raking bunkers.
• Constructing, aerating, and turfing work/duties, as directed.
• Operating grass cutting machinery safely and effectively; caring for and maintaining machinery, and reporting loss or damage to the Workshop Manager.
• Participating in job rotation of all main duties during the high season of golf.
• Understanding Trump Turnberry policy on Health and Safety and ensuring all duties are performed with full regard to the safety of customers, visitors, contractors, and employees; working within Health & Safety, COSHH, Risk Assessment, and HAVS guidelines at all times.
• Accepting training and instruction to further skill set.
• Maintaining high standards of customer care at all times.
• Performing any other duties required on the golf courses or around the estate.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
• Basic knowledge of golf is desired.
• Experience working outdoors throughout all seasons, preferably on a golf course, is advantageous.
• The position requires walking; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours, with task durations varying.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch, and operate necessary equipment using manual dexterity.
• A driving license is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication skills, being a team player, and the ability to understand and carry out instructions are essential.
