Job Description

Note: We cannot offer visa sponsorship for this role.

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

  1. Experience with material characterisation using various analytical techniques.
  2. Ability to plan, design, and safely execute synthetic manufacturing steps, following all safety protocols.
  3. Experience applying green chemistry principles to synthesize functional materials for personal care formulations is desirable.
  4. Understanding of synthetic pathways and the ability to predict and build upon scientific knowledge.
  5. Ability to generate comprehensive characterisation data, including performance testing in relevant formulations.
  6. Maintaining accurate experimental records and analyzing results is essential.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
  9. Experience with process improvement is a plus.
  10. A passion for quality and customer service is essential.
Qualifications
  1. A degree or higher in a relevant chemical science discipline, emphasizing organic synthesis.
  2. Practical experience in synthetic chemistry, with knowledge of Organic and Green Chemistry applicable to home and health care products.
  3. Proficiency with analytical equipment such as IR, NMR, and UV spectroscopy.
  4. Experience with HPLC, GC, and MS is desirable.
