Job Title: Veterinary Surgeon

The Role:

A tier 3 hospital status, RCVS-accredited practice in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The practice boasts a fantastic local reputation and has been affiliated with Vet Partners since 2019. The clinic operates as a hybrid between a first-opinion and a referral clinic, due to the extensive facilities available and the experienced team.

The Duties:

The team comprises 17 vets, 23 nurses, and 16 support colleagues.

The practice encourages a team approach and individual development.

The role involves working on a day rota, including weekends.

A medical bias would be preferential, and support for a certificate would be available.

The practice has a dedicated out-of-hours team to cover night shifts.

Location:

The practice is located in the wonderful town of Long Eaton, situated midway between Nottingham and Derby. With easy access from the J24 and J25 of the M1, Long Eaton also features its own train station and a great bus service. It is also a short distance from East Midlands Airport, making this a fantastic opportunity for commuters.

More About The Practice:

The practice is equipped with a high-end ultrasound machine, digital radiography, dental radiography, endoscopy/rhinoscopy/bronchoscopy, electrocautery, laparoscopy, tonometry and slit lamp, among other facilities. A CT scanner is also planned to be added by the first quarter of 2026. The practice prides itself on providing the best first-opinion veterinary care to patients, utilising a highly experienced veterinary team in a multi-disciplinary approach.
