Job summary

Net Temps are currently recruiting a Mould Setter / Joiner to join a busy manufacturing environment in Nottingham. You will set moulds, install inserts and fixtures, and prepare surfaces for GRC spraying or casting.

The role requires experience in joinery or mould assembly, reading drawings, and working with timber moulds. You will work 6am–3.30pm, Monday to Friday, in a busy production setting with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in joinery, carpentry or mould assembly.
• Able to read manufacturing drawings.
• Experience with timber moulds or formwork systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Mould preparation and setup according to drawings.
• Assist production to ensure moulds are ready for spraying or casting.
• Demoulding and reuse: remove finished units and reset moulds for next cycle.
• Quality control: check finish and dimensions, report defects.
• Maintenance and housekeeping: keep moulds and area clean and organised.
