Job summary

incident.io is seeking a GRC Engineer to transform compliance from spreadsheets into automated processes. You will own the compliance programme, customer security questionnaires, and evidence management, using AI-powered workflows to reduce toil and scale audits.

You will drive ISO 27001 work, run a gap assessment against ISO 42001, and collaborate with security, engineering, legal and product to improve GRC tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience running or contributing to a real compliance programme, ideally ISO 27001.
• Preference for automating evidence collection over chasing screenshots.
• Ability to write code (Python, Go or similar) or build workflows and use AI to reduce toil.
• Able to answer customer security questionnaires quickly, accurately and in plain English.

Responsibilities

• Own how we prove we’re compliant: the programme, customer security questionnaires and evidence behind both.
• Build AI-powered workflows to draft questionnaire answers and streamline audits.
• Advance ISO 27001 work and run a gap assessment against ISO 42001 within initial quarters.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, legal and product to improve GRC tooling.
