JOB TITLE Graphic Designer & Videographer

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Working with: Mainly BlocOut Brand and supporting all areas of the business

The Bloc Group are growing our BlocOut division— The Bloc Out team are creators of award-winning blackout blinds that transform the way people sleep and live. From our HQ in Magherafelt, we’re helping customers all over the UK and Ireland, and we’re growing fast. That means we need brilliant people to help us on our journey in building our brand and continuing to improve our design and video assets on our website, social media and met ad campaigns. So, right now, we’re looking for a Graphic Designer & Videographer to join our Marketing & eCommerce team.

We’re looking for someone who excels at creating performance-focused ad creatives, especially for Meta Ads, and who is driven by the challenge of blending striking visuals with tangible business results.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with our Content Creation Specialist, collaborate with the design and strategy teams to produce high-impact paid social content. You’ll also contribute to broader brand and marketing efforts, ensuring each asset is not only visually compelling but also delivers strong commercial performance.

What we will ask of you:

• Collaborate with the Content Creation Specialist on creative concepts and campaigns to design high-performing ad creatives for our D2C eCommerce brand.
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and maintain consistency across platforms.
• Produce social media content (short-form videos, reels, animations) to enhance online presence and engagement.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns and content strategies.
• Stay up to date with current design trends, automation tools, and technology to continuously improve and evolve multimedia offerings.
• You will be responsible for creating high-quality digital and print designs, including brochures, catalogues, packaging, banners, social media graphics, and website assets.
• Plan, shoot, and edit support videos showcasing our products, installation processes, and product features.
• Capture high-resolution product photography for use in design assets online and at times print.
• Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Support trade shows, product launches, and other promotional activities with creative visuals and videos for our other group brands when required.
• Support a consistent rhythm of high-output creative, where creative briefs are quickly brought to life, tested, and optimised.
• Build a creative testing engine, ensuring learnings continuously feed into the next batch of concepts.

What we are looking for:

Essential

• Third level qualification in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Graphic Designer and Videographer
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Cap Cut and/or Figma/Canva.
• Strong skills in photography, video production, and editing with experience in Adobe After Effects and video editing software.
• Experience of excelling at creating performance-focused ad creatives, particularly for Meta Ads.

• Experience in producing social media content to enhance online presence and engagement (short-form videos, reels, animations).

• Knowledge of motion graphics and basic 3D design.
• Experience of using AI Creative Tools while also keeping a strong human-led creative vision.
• Creativity with strong attention to detail and ability to bring concepts to life.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and be a proactive team member.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working in creative strategy or performance creative role for an eCommerce or DTC brand.
