Flexjet is looking for a London-based Graphic Designer to join the brand’s in-house creative agency that serves both the Flexjet brand as well as a variety of private aviation brands that are part of the wider Flexjet group in Europe.

This role will be a part of a fast-paced, highly creative environment that will allow the Graphic Designer to expand their skillset and apply multiple styles of design for a variety of marketing and advertising channels. The Graphic Designer will need to help balance design aesthetic and usability across print and digital mediums. An ideal candidate would be talented, have a passion for creating original concepts, committed to practicing great design, appreciate details, be self-critical, have a good sense of humor, be motivated, and be highly effective in a collaborative environment.

The position will be based out of the Flexjet offices in Central London. Some international travel will also be required.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Designing original creative, from concept to final deliverable, including but not limited to: direct mail, collateral, event installations, banner ads (static and animated), custom and templated emails, landing pages, occasional website design or updates, app layout, social media support (cropping images, color correction, etc.), and exploring new marketing opportunities in both print and digital.
  2. Ability to produce 2D and 3D prototypes of concepts for in-house review.
  3. Assist Senior Graphic Designers and other creatives with brainstorming and creating pitch concepts for both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Assist with developing the graphic language and aesthetics that support a truly unique 360º branded experience.
  5. Making edits to templates and previous work.
  6. Provide print and digital support for various internal departments at Flexjet.
  7. Offer input and feedback throughout the creative process.
  8. Act as a brand ambassador for various Directional Aviation companies.
  9. Balance multiple projects and meetings with various deadlines and schedule changes.
  10. Collaborate with fellow Studio One creatives and other team members to concept ideas and produce the best creative possible.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED SKILLS:

  1. BA/BFA/BS degree in design or similar field.
  2. Previous professional experience in print and digital design.
  3. Previous in-house and/or agency experience preferred.
  4. Expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft 365.
  5. Conceptual illustration and sketching.
  6. Experience with project management software (e.g., Basecamp or Asana).
  7. General knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and HTML5.
  8. Strong layout and print production skills.
  9. Good understanding of responsive/mobile design or willingness to learn.
  10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture.
  11. Capability to concept and execute unique approaches to projects.
  12. Experience working with brand guidelines.
  13. Strong project management and organization skills.
  14. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate flexibility.
  15. Innovative and creative thinker; proactively identifies opportunities.
  16. Able to digest and adapt to constructive criticism and direction.
  17. Solid utilization of creative software (Adobe CC Suite, both print and digital apps).
  18. Must have advanced skills and experience in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  19. Video editing skills would also be a plus.

WORK-SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Portfolio of past design samples.
  2. A design test will be given to those candidates that make the final round of interviews to determine skills.
