Job summary

Camira are seeking a skilled in-house graphic designer to deliver accurate, brand-consistent artwork across print and digital channels, from concept through final production.

You will work within brand guidelines, collaborate with marketing and suppliers, manage multiple artwork projects and ensure timely approvals and production readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in graphic design, either agency or client-side, including artworking, creative, planning and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Camira Code of Conduct and comply with quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements.
• Brand & Creative: apply Camira and Camira Group brand identities consistently across communications, within brand guidelines.
• Artwork & Production: create print-ready and digital artwork for marketing, product, sampling materials, price lists, brochures and promotional collateral.
• Digital Support: develop assets for website, email marketing, social media and digital publications, plus PowerPoint presentations.
• Product Launches & Campaigns: collaborate with Marketing to develop concepts for campaigns and launches.
• Project & Workflow Management: manage multiple artwork projects and ensure approvals before production/publication.
• Supplier Liaison: coordinate with printers and external suppliers for production-ready artwork.
• Graphic Design Processes: maintain organized artwork files, templates and assets and follow ISO 9001 processes.

About our company

Camira are a multi-award-winning textile manufacturer with two centuries of heritage and a forward-thinking approach to innovation and sustainability, Camira designs and manufactures environmental fabrics for the commercial, public transport and residential sectors.

Purpose of the role

To provide an efficient and responsive in-house graphic design and artwork service to Camira, producing accurate, high-quality and brand-consistent materials across print and digital channels.

The day to day

• To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
• Brand & Creative: apply Camira and Camira Group brand identities consistently across all communications, working within established brand guidelines and creative direction.
• Artwork & Production: create accurate, print-ready and digital artwork for marketing, product and sampling materials, including pattern cards, sample materials, global price lists, brochures, adverts, presentations and promotional collateral.
• Digital Support: develop creative assets for digital channels including website, email marketing, social media and digital publications, as well as PowerPoint presentations and other business communications.
• Product Launches & Campaign Support: work with the Marketing team, internal and external creative partners to develop and implement creative concepts for campaigns, product launches and other marketing activity.
• Project & Workflow Management: manage multiple artwork projects and deadlines, maintaining version control and ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained before production or publication.
• Supplier Liaison: liaise with printers and other external suppliers as required, ensuring artwork meets technical and production requirements.
• Graphic Design Processes: maintain organised artwork files, templates and brand assets and follow relevant design, approval and ISO 9001 processes.

Other Considerations

• An experienced Apple Mac user with particular familiarity of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Experience of working in a busy commercial, team environment
• Relevant experience within graphic design, either agency or client-side, including artworking, creative, planning and implementation
• Skilled with presentation software such as PowerPoint
• Experience of AfterEffects and / or Premier Pro (or similar) for animation and video (Desirable)
