Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Cambuslang, is currently looking to recruit a Graphic Designer for an initial 3-month contract at a rate of £18.76 - £19.70/hour PAYE. This role offers a hybrid working pattern with 2 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in producing corporate reports, training materials, exhibition displays, advertisements, and other corporate content.
2. Advise on corporate image, design style, and cost-effective creative solutions aligned with organisational needs.
3. Collaborate with various departments on video/photographic requirements and support for exhibitions, seminars, or corporate events requiring graphic input.
4. Help set up venues for events as needed.
5. Coordinate with external print companies and suppliers.
6. Meet project deadlines and communicate progress effectively.
7. Maintain accurate job records and filing systems.
8. Manage stock materials in accordance with financial procedures and budgets.
9. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and organisational policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification such as HNC in graphic design or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in IT, especially design and photo-editing software.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating illustrations or graphics.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and creativity.
• Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting complex ideas to non-specialists.
• Ability to work methodically, meet deadlines, and work independently with guidance.
• Flexibility to work as part of a team to achieve goals.
• Experience in developing animations for marketing campaigns.
