Job summary

Riverlane, based in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a delivery-focused professional to manage a portfolio of five to ten grant-funded projects, including Innovate UK collaborations. You will write technical progress reports and coordinate with scientists, engineers, and funders to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managing a portfolio of publicly funded R&D projects (£3M+ total value).
• Excellent technical writing ability; sample of work required.
• STEM degree or comparable technical background.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of five to ten grant-funded projects, including Innovate UK collaborations.
• Write technical and scientific progress reports for funders.
• Forecast resourcing and balance priorities across projects.
• Run quarterly claims and financial reporting with Finance.
• Coordinate consortium activities and partner meetings.
• Lead initial engagement with prospective partners for new consortia.
• Track dependencies between grants and company roadmap.
• Support new grant applications with project plans and budgets.
