Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a Grants Manager for a six-month role to deliver funded projects like the Greenwich Peninsula Social Clubs Fund. You will engage communities, streamline applications, and maintain grant records.

The role includes liaising with panels, conducting due diligence, and sharing progress updates with funders and partners. You will support grantees with signposting to opportunities and help connect groups to local charities.

Competenze

Experience delivering a grants programme or similar stakeholder-led initiative.
Proactive planning and ability to manage multiple grants simultaneously.
Strong relationships with local communities and residents.
Excellent record-keeping and attention to detail using spreadsheets and databases.

Carry out community outreach in Greenwich neighbourhoods to support grant applications and resident panels.
Set up and update application forms and guidance for each funding round using templates.
Be the first point of contact for applicants and supporting groups new to funding.
Carry out eligibility and due diligence checks on applications, including budgets and safeguarding.
Recruit and support local residents for grant panels and prepare meeting papers.
Issue grant agreements and payments and maintain accurate grant records in Airtable.
Monitor funded groups, collect progress data and report impact to stakeholders.
Provide signposting to further funding and connect grantees to local organisations.
