Job summary

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a suitably-qualified and experienced grants and trusts practitioner to lead and develop our fundraising programme, securing vital income from charitable funders to support our priorities and core costs. You will identify funding opportunities, develop funding proposals, manage grant reporting and stewardship, and line-manage a Grants Officer.

This permanent, full-time role is based at Brooke House in Ashbocking with flexible hybrid working; salary up to £35,000

Qualifications

• Strong track record of securing income from trusts and foundations.
• Experience developing successful funding strategies and managing a fundraising pipeline.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with funders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Suffolk Wildlife Trust's grants and trusts fundraising programme.
• Identify opportunities and research funding sources; develop funding proposals.
• Manage grant reporting and monitoring; ensure stewardship of funders.
