  1. Hands-on experience in the different aspects of Grants Assurance, with a variety of clients, from Local Authorities to multinational companies and Government bodies.
  2. Experience working on assurance assignments that range from a few days to up to five weeks, including examining financial records or carrying out audit procedures.
  3. Responsibility and the opportunity to take ownership of interesting and challenging client work.
  4. Developing a strong internal and external network to learn from.
  5. Working closely with colleagues to provide robust challenge and market-leading insights to help clients meet their regulatory needs and business objectives.

The minimum criteria:

  • Experience of working with local government and/or an interest in local government and a desire to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Experience of delivering complex Housing Benefit assignments over the last 5 years.
  • Ability to work independently, summarise information from a wide range of sources to draw conclusions, and manage client relationships including senior officers.
We envisage that this role would suit an experienced in-charge who aspires to become a Manager.

The impact you can make here will go far beyond your day job. From secondments to fundraising for local charities or investing in entrepreneurs in the developing world, you'll be giving back to society. It's that drive to do the right thing that runs through our every move, grounded in our firm's values - purposefully driven, actively curious, and candid but kind.
