RoomReview is a London-based, renter-powered platform dedicated to enhancing transparency in the UK rental market. We empower tenants to share honest reviews about rental properties, landlords, and agencies, helping others make informed decisions before signing a lease. Our mission is to build stronger, safer, and more informed rental communities by giving voice to real tenant experiences. We're currently live on Instagram and launching our MVP this summer.

Role Description

This is a contract-based, commission-focused, remote role for a Grant Coordinator. The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing grant administration, writing proposals, managing grant programs, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. They will also perform daily tasks such as researching potential funding sources, preparing and submitting grant applications, and monitoring grant-funded programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

What You’ll Do:

  • Research and identify suitable grant opportunities (UKRI, Innovate UK, EIC Accelerator, Local Enterprise Partnerships, Impact Funds, Tech-for-Good programs, etc.)
  • Prepare and submit compelling grant applications with support from the RoomReview team
  • Help define project scopes, budgets, and KPIs in alignment with funder goals
  • Monitor deadlines and manage follow-up documentation as needed
  • Collaborate with founders to tailor narratives, impact metrics, and scaling plans

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience writing and winning grants for startups, charities, or social impact projects (e.g., Innovate UK, Lottery, Horizon Europe)
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and editing skills
  • Familiarity with social impact, housing, or proptech is a major plus
  • Strong organisational and research skills
  • Based in the UK (or with deep knowledge of the UK/EU funding landscape)
  • Comfortable working independently and motivated by a commission-based model

Qualifications

  • Experience in Grant Administration and Program Management
  • Strong skills in Proposal Writing and Analytical Skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Relevant experience in non-profit or community-focused organizations is beneficial
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
