Grain Store and Dryer Operator job - Scotland

We are seeking a Grain Store and Dryer Operator to operate a large grain storage facility during the harvest season in Scotland. The role includes:

1. Intake of grain from the field
2. Monitoring moisture levels at intake
3. Operating and monitoring grain dryer and conveyor system
4. Ensuring all grain is stored at correct moisture and temperature
5. Loading grain onto lorries

Experience with telehandlers is beneficial but not essential. The position is well suited for candidates with limited machinery operating experience. Relevant training, including health and safety, will be provided.

• Hours: 80 per week

Accommodation: Yes, a room in a house on the farm. Accommodation is suitable for a single person or a couple, with basic washing and cooking facilities. The farm also offers work as a tractor driver, which could suit a couple coming together.
