A local government authority is seeking a Graduate/Technician in Civil Engineering to join its Roads service. The role involves supporting sustainable transport initiatives and ensuring operational deadline management. An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for a Graduate/Technician to join our Roads service on a permanent basis.

It is essential that candidates have a Degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, are proficient in using Microsoft Office applications, as well as being self-motivated and have excellent communication skills. Knowledge of contract compilation and administration and a current UK full driving licence are also essential.
You should have the ability to cope with pressure, be organised within operational team to ensure deadlines of met. You should also manage your own performance as well as your teams' goals.

Weekly Hours: 35
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Annual Salary: £36,319.27 - £42,291.40 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £743 per annum.
