Tradewind are recruiting! We are looking for dynamic and engaging Graduates seeking school experience for Secondary classrooms across Wigan. If you are a recent graduate considering a career as a Secondary Teacher and want classroom experience, Tradewind can help you with flexible work that fits around your lifestyle.

As a Graduate seeking PGCE experience, Tradewind will be able to place you as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Cover Supervisor: oversee the completion of set work in the absence of the class teacher. Manage the behaviour of the class and safeguard students’ wellbeing. Provide feedback at the end of the day to the cover manager, including reporting any issues.
• Teaching Assistant: support students on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups. Work with students with SEND or those who require catch-up support. Liaise with the subject teacher to discuss specific lesson requirements.
