Overview

Tradewind are recruiting! We are looking for dynamic and engaging graduates seeking school experience for Secondary classrooms. Roles available in Warrington include Cover Supervisor and Teaching Assistant opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Cover Supervisor – oversee the completion of set work in the absence of the subject teacher; help refine behaviour management strategies; safeguard students’ wellbeing; provide end-of-day feedback to the cover manager and report issues.
• Teaching Assistant – support 1-2-1 or small group work; work with students with SEND or identified as requiring catch up; collaborate with the subject teacher to discuss lesson requirements.

Requirements

• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure Certificate (on the update service or willing to apply; cost refunded after 20 days work).
• An overseas police check (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• CV covering the last 10 years of employment history with explanations for any employment breaks where possible.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
