JOB PROFILE TITLE: Graduate Workday Integrations Consultant
SALARY: £27,500 - £30,500
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Graduate WorkdayIntegrations Consultant in Kainos, you’ll work as part of ateamof integration consultants on a project, supporting the successful delivery ofintegrationsolutions for thecloud-basedWorkday HCM system.With the support of more senior consultants, you’ll work to capture requirements,document, implement, deploy and support integration solutions within aWorkdayimplementation project.
You will develop and share expert knowledge of theWorkdayproduct and integration platform toolset, as well as HCM / Financials business domainknowledge. You’ll build strong relationships with our customers to understand their requirements,ensuring that the integration solution is aligned to their needs, fit for purpose andcommercially viable . You’ll know when to appropriately escalate issues and seeksupportfrom your more experienced team members.
Upon completion of the 12-month Early Careers Programme, you will have gained knowledge and skills to help transform the organization and set you on the path to becoming the next generation of leaders at Kainos.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
Obtained a Bachelor level degree in a relevant technical and/or business subject, e.g. IT/Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Human Resources, Economics, Integrationsetc.
An understanding ofXML, XPath and XSLT,and knowledge ofa n object - oriented programming language (preferably J2EE)
Basicunderstanding of cloud computing, web services and associated integrationchallenges
Good communicator, you will be willing to assume a customer facing role, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues andclients
Capable of working within teams and alongside customers, as well as on your own individual tasks with limited supervision. Able to manage your time effectively and record itaccurately
Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracyat all times
Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/oragreements and ensure security of information at alltimes
Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out ofregion travel may also be required )
Commercial understanding of utilisation within a services organisation and theimportance of these targets
DESIRABLE :
Basic understanding of Human Resource, Financials, or Payroll operations and/orsoftware integrations
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE APPLYING:

Travel expectations: At Kainos, we work with a diverse range of clients and some of our projects require travel. Travel is expected as part of this role, we will endeavour to keep this to a minimum and ensure sufficient notice is provided.
Working arrangements: Upon joining you will be expected to work in your contracted office for 5 days per week, until you pass probationary period (6 months). After which, you can work hybrid in agreement with your manager , with no limit on the number of days that a person can work from home. As long as you are available to travel into your contracted office, or to a customer site, when required .
Workday Certification: All graduates will participate in a structured training programme, which includes Workday Certification where relevant to your role. This training typically spans 2 to 4 full weeks and attendance is mandatory for all training days. Successfully passing your certification is a requirement of the role, and you’ll receive full training and support from Kainos throughout the process.
