VACANCY: Graduate Buyer - Waterlooville

Location: Waterlooville

Kite Packaging have a brilliant opportunity for a Graduate Buyer to join their South Coast team. Kite Packaging was founded in 2001 with a unique vision and a philosophy of employee-ownership. We seek a dynamic, commercially strong individual who can thrive in a pressurised and fast-moving environment. We are looking for an experienced and driven individual with a strong commercial instinct. Ideally the candidate will understand distribution, purchasing and supply chains and will be forward thinking.

The role of Graduate Buyer:

The role will specifically cover the following areas:

1. Managing stock levels in conjunction with Internal Account Managers
2. Placing orders, and day to day dealing with suppliers
3. Processing enquiries to exacting customer requirements in conjunction with account managers
4. Supporting the internal team with effective account management

Key Skills and Essential Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following key skills:

1. A recent graduate with a 2:1 minimum degree within a numeric based degree ie; Maths, Economics, Business, Finance, Accountancy or equivalent
2. Be highly motivated
3. Have excellent communication skills
4. Have a likeability, with the ability to easily create a rapport with others
5. Work within 30 minutes commute of our Portsmouth site
