Scarsdale Vets in Derby, part of IVC Evidensia, invites applications for a Graduate Veterinary Surgeon – Small Animal. The main Pride Park hospital combines a busy first opinion practice with a multidisciplinary referral service and an out-of-hours team.

You will work 38 hours per week over a 4-day week, with a shared weekend rota and time off in lieu for weekend work. Our Graduate Academy supports your learning and development across our network.

The main hospital is based at Pride Park in Derby and is home to a busy first opinion practice, a multidisciplinary referral service and an out-of-hours service. We have 8 practice sites in addition to the hospital.

We have a talented and enthusiastic experienced team of veterinary surgeons supported by an exceptional team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants and Client Care Advisors. In total we have 12.7 FTE Vets and 17 FTE Nurses.

All our stand-alone practices are RCVS approved. Our main hospital is well equipped with a CT scanner, MRI, Advanced Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital X-ray, Dental radiography, and multiple surgical suites, as well as an onsite hydrotherapy & rehabilitation centre and our multi-disciplinary specialist led referral service.
