Job summary

PDSL is seeking a Graduate Vehicle Software Support Engineer for a premium automotive environment in Coventry. This entry-level role provides hands-on exposure to vehicle software, ECU programming and diagnostic engineering, with a clear pathway into testing workflows.

You will support prototype and advanced vehicle activities, create and manage technical documentation, and collaborate with senior engineers to learn CAN networks, diagnostics, and software flashing as part of your development

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for automotive technology, software, and diagnostics? PDSL are working with a leading client to recruit a Graduate Vehicle Software Support Engineer within a premium automotive environment. This welcoming and professional role offers an exciting pathway into vehicle software, ECU programming, and diagnostic engineering.

In this entry-level position, you will support prototype and advanced vehicle activities by accurately creating and managing technical documentation, including job cards, vehicle history, and traceability records. Your meticulous attention to detail and organised approach will ensure seamless engineering handovers across shifts and contribute to efficient vehicle development.

As you grow in your role, you will gain exposure to vehicle systems, software flashing, CAN networks, and diagnostic tools. You'll work closely with experienced engineers, helping to optimise workflows and learn key processes that underpin vehicle development and testing.
