Candidates should have a relevant degree and strong skills in drawing and presentation. Arup's Cities Planning & Design Team offers an integrated approach and sustainable solutions for designing cities and complex urban environments. We are a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, urban designers, architects, planners, economists, and sustainability experts based in London, working on projects worldwide. Our ability to combine skills to solve complex or unusual problems and help clients create a cohesive vision for successful, sustainable urban places sets us apart.
As Urban Designers, we work on district, city, and regional projects in the UK and abroad, moving between strategic and conceptual ideas to typology and streetscape detail. We collaborate within small, design-led teams alongside our multidisciplinary colleagues.
You will contribute to the development of exciting urban projects in the UK and overseas, including new towns, city regeneration strategies, university campuses, innovation districts, tourism and leisure destinations, mixed-use city centre masterplans, sports, and legacy projects.
This role is based in London, and we are considering UK-based applications only.
