The Role – Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher

As a Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher, you will work across Late KS1 and Early KS2, assisting with the planning and delivery of creative, engaging lessons in English, Maths, and foundation subjects. You'll lead small group interventions, help pupils meet their learning goals, and gradually take on more classroom responsibility as your confidence grows.

Key Responsibilities – Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher

  • Support class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons for pupils in Late Key Stage 1 and Early Key Stage 2
  • Lead small group sessions to support pupils in literacy and numeracy
  • Assist in planning and preparing engaging, inclusive learning activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to help close learning gaps
  • Develop classroom management skills and build rapport with pupils
  • Inspire a love of learning and help pupils thrive in their primary years

What We’re Looking For – Graduate Unqualified Primary Teacher

  • A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in any subject (English, Psychology, Education or similar subjects preferred)
  • A genuine interest in becoming a future primary teacher
  • Excellent communication and a proactive, enthusiastic approach
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is a bonus but not essential
  • Commitment to working full-time from September 2025 to July 2026
