Job summary

Mondi is seeking a Graduate Accountant to join its UK Treasury team, reporting to the Assistant Group Treasurer. You will support treasury accounting, month-end activities, and reporting, while gaining exposure to cash, debt, FX, and derivatives.

The role includes full ACCA study support and paid study leave, with a hybrid work pattern in the UK. You will work closely with the UK and Vienna teams, develop broad treasury experience, and build a strong foundation for a career in finance and

Qualifications

• Degree (2:1 minimum) in numerate or analytical discipline (e.g. accounting, finance, maths)
• A-level maths required (B grade minimum)
• Intention to study ACCA qualification; no prior accounting experience required
• Numerate and analytical with good problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities; able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and communication; team-oriented
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel
• Quick learner; comfortable adopting new systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Support daily and monthly financial reporting, including month-end activities
• Provide accounting support to the Treasury Accountant on treasury activities
• Understand treasury and derivative accounting processes and ensure policy compliance
• Liaise with group auditors and assist with audit requests for treasury activity
• Maintain and improve treasury reporting with stakeholders across the business
• Collaborate across the team and provide administrative support to keep work on schedule
• Gain knowledge of in-house and external treasury systems and support key processes with back-up to the Treasury Accountant and Treasury Manager
