Job summary

DPD UK is seeking a graduate in mathematics or analytical subjects to support our operational teams by analyzing data and producing route plans and rosters that maintain capability cost-effectively while preserving service levels.

You will analyse volume forecasts, develop routes, and cooperate with Hub, Network and Depot Management to optimise operations. This role supports our 4 on/4 off schedule and 8am–8pm shifts, offering growth within a leading logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Graduate; ideally Mathematics or other Analytical or Statistical Subject.
• Analytical, data focused, highly organised and have exceptional attention to detail.
• Focused on reducing operational costs and creating efficiencies.
• Able to work as part of a team and build rapport with other departments.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and formulas.
• Self-motivated and flexible with good problem-solving.
• Confident communicator at all levels.
• Demonstrate DPD DNA values: Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Caring, Accountability.

Responsibilities

• Analysing and manipulating data from spreadsheets and in-house systems to report parcel volumes.
• Monitoring and assessing progress of on-going projects.
• Identifying ways to reduce costs by implementing agreed processes to increase efficiencies.
• Liaising with Hub Management to resolve issues and promote efficiencies.
• Liaising with the Network to arrange ad-hoc collections.
• Liaising with Depot Management of Operations Support to plan efficient routes.
• Maintaining effective communication between Hub and Network.
