DPD UK is seeking a data‑driven analyst to support operational teams by producing route plans and rostering to maintain capability while keeping costs in check. You will analyze volume forecasts to ensure smooth operations and report on parcel volumes from in‑house systems.

The role requires a graduate in Mathematics or analytical subject, strong Excel/Sheets skills, and a focus on reducing costs with cross‑department collaboration. 4 on 4 off shifts apply; permanent role in Hinckley.

Job Description

Purpose of Position

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Operational teams, producing route plans and roster patterns to ensure capability is maintained in the most cost-effective and compliant way without compromising service levels. You will also analyze volume forecasts to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities Of This Role Include

• Analyzing and manipulating data from spreadsheets and other in-house systems to report on parcel volumes
• Monitoring and assessing the progress of ongoing projects
• Identifying ways to reduce costs by implementing agreed processes to increase efficiencies
• Liaising with Hub Management to resolve any issues within the Network and promote efficiencies
• Coordinating with the Network to arrange ad-hoc collections
• Working with Depot Management of Operations Support to plan efficient routes
• Maintaining effective communication between Hub and Network

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

• A Graduate; ideally in Mathematics or another Analytical or Statistical Subject
• Analytical, data-focused, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
• Focused on reducing operational costs and creating efficiencies
• Ability to work as part of a team and build rapport with other departments
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, with a strong knowledge of formulas and other Microsoft/G Suite packages
• A problem solver who demonstrates high levels of self-motivation and flexibility
• A confident communicator, capable of interacting at all levels
