Job summary

Fleet Education Services Ltd. is seeking graduates to become Tutors. You will design personalised lessons, monitor learner progress, and collaborate with parents and schools to ensure academic success. The role involves in-person tutoring in Birmingham schools and online sessions, with flexible hours and PAYE pay.

A comprehensive induction and ongoing CPD training are offered, along with support from a dedicated Tuition Consultant team to match you with engagements.

Qualifications

• A minimum bachelor’s degree in English/Maths/Science.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions on working hours.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners.

About the Programme:

• Acomprehensive induction including a training programme
• Afollow-up scenario-based assessmentto evaluate understanding
• Online CPD training, including modules such asSEND Support
• Ongoing feedback and support from our experienced Quality Assurance team

Your Progression Path:

• Begin with carefully selected placements (KS3-KS4)
• Be supported to provide high-quality tuition
• Work towards completing aminimum of 52 hours of delivered tuition and meeting our experience threshold to transition to full tutor status

• When registering as a Graduate Trainee with Fleet you will be listed as anAgency Worker, supporting with tuition engagements as and when they arise. Set amount of hours are not guaranteed.
• You will work through a contract for service and will be paid viaPAYE.
• Any tuition placements you undertake with us will be covered by our insurance.
• Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete oursafer recruitment process, designed with KCSIE in mind (Keeping Children Safe in Education).
