As a Generative AI Engineer in the AI Engineering team, you will shape AI applications at Marex, working on innovative solutions, building infrastructure, and supporting enterprise AI initiatives. You will collaborate closely with data specialists to ensure AI applications are secure, well-governed, and effective.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Marex's GenAI infrastructure for effective AI solution deployment.
  • Support production GenAI applications, including the Marex Knowledge Base, an advanced question-answering engine.
  • Establish best practices and standards for GenAI development within the organization.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced mathematical knowledge relevant to machine learning and AI.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas and NumPy.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Desirable:

  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
  • Published research in AI or related fields.
  • Experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform.

Education:

  • Likely a Masters or PhD in a data-intensive field.

Additional qualities include:
