Job summary

Mitchell Adam Ltd is seeking a Graduate/Trainee Accountant in Birmingham to build a solid foundation in accounting. You will receive hands-on training across core processes and work toward professional qualifications.

You’ll join a supportive finance team, gain exposure to ledgers, reconciliations and month-end tasks, and gradually assume ownership of responsibilities while developing commercially valuable skills.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related subject or some finance experience.
• Genuine interest in building a long-term career in accountancy and developing technical knowledge.
• Strong numerical ability with attention to detail and a methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments.
• Support month-end processes and financial reporting, learning from experienced finance professionals.
• Progressively take ownership of own areas of responsibility while developing broadly across accounting disciplines.
