Graduate Trading Support
Salary: Circa £25,000
Location: Leatherhead
Work hours: Shift rotation (6am‑3pm, 7am‑4pm, 8am‑5pm)
Work setting: Office based
Purpose of the Role
- Reports directly to the Head of Trading and is an integral part of the Trading team, contributing to client delivery and platform user experience.
- Gains insight from market and industry analyses and customer behavioural research while considering rapid technological changes.
- Collaborates on sales trading, customer implementation, legal, and development projects and engages with customers to understand requirements and provide support.
- Supports the Trading desk as part of daily duties.
Job Description
- Develop relationships with customers and internal teams to support day‑to‑day queries.
- Participate in technical pre‑sales meetings with potential customers to promote products and services.
- Produce content, including documentation and presentations at both non‑technical and technical levels.
- Engage with customers, sometimes face‑to‑face, to gather requirements and identify product improvement opportunities.
- Monitor the competitive landscape to understand market opportunities, trends, products and commodity markets.
- Analyse product usage statistics and patterns to identify improvement opportunities that increase customer engagement and promote repeat usage.
- Travel overseas to the Middle and Far East for face‑to‑face meetings with clients.
Qualifications and Experience
- Ideal candidate has education or is studying toward a degree in a relevant academic field.
- High degree of integrity and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and a desire to learn.
- Desire to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic and high‑growth technical environment.
- Natural problem‑solving abilities and high motivation.
- Strong follow‑up, team player with ability to deliver within defined timeframes.
- Willingness to travel periodically, including international trips.
