Job summary

Confidential in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join a growing planning team. The role offers exposure to residential, affordable housing, commercial and tourism projects and a supportive environment.

You will work under senior staff, handle site appraisals, prepare representations, submit planning applications and assist with appeals, while mentoring junior team members. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant planning discipline.
• Student membership with the RTPI.
• Some planning experience is advantageous.
• A full driving licence is required.
