Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Town Planning or a related field, eager to take your first step into the professional planning world? I'm working exclusively with a respected and growing planning consultancy based in the heart of the Cotswolds, and they're looking to add a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to their collaborative team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about the built environment and is looking to develop their career in a supportive, knowledgeable, and dynamic environment. You'll be joining a small but busy team working on a variety of planning projects across the South and Midlands, ranging from residential and rural development to commercial schemes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals

  • Conducting planning policy research and site appraisals

  • Assisting with stakeholder engagement and client communications

  • Attending site visits and planning meetings

  • Learning the ropes from experienced chartered planners who are committed to your growth

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a closely related discipline (RTPI-accredited is ideal)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A genuine interest in planning and development

  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • A full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one)
