About Us: Carrington West are assisting a leading Planning Consultancy who are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join their dynamic team in Bristol.
Job Description: As a Graduate Town Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's team of experienced planners in delivering high-quality planning services to various clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for town planning to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a variety of projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and other planning-related documents.
2.Conduct research and analysis to support planning projects, including site assessments, policy reviews, and stakeholder engagement.
3.Collaborate with more senior members of staff to develop planning strategies that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
4.Stay updated on planning legislation, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.
Qualifications and Skills:
1.Bachelor's degree in Town Planning or a related field.
2.Strong understanding of planning principles, policies, and regulations.
