Our 12 month Graduate Programme
Joining the Leonardo Graduate Scheme is the opportunity to be part of the next generation of our business. As a Graduate, you will join us on £32,000 with a welcome bonus and could receive a generous Temporary Accommodation Allowance if you move more than 40 miles away from home for the role.
You will be provided with a wealth of development opportunities in both virtual and applied working environments. What you will do
You will gain experience in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, applied research, and testing.
You will have opportunities to be involved in Test System disciplines such as RF, Microwave, Antenna, FPGA, and high-speed digital engineering.
Understanding the product domain will be key, requiring close collaboration with engineers from other disciplines like Systems, Software, and Mechanical, and potential interface with customers and end users.
Key Responsibility Areas
To develop skills in hardware development, including advanced design techniques for aerospace applications, understanding key technologies, and gaining experience with ECAD tools and test equipment.
You will explore various aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, hardware design, implementation, integration, testing, and support.
Most training will be on-the-job, working on real hardware within project groups delivering test systems to customers.
Additional formal training will be provided based on business needs and your career goals.

What we are looking for
Qualifications
All roles require at least an upper Second class Bachelors/Integrated Masters degree, or higher, such as MSc or PhD, in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a relevant STEM discipline.
