Job summary

Emerson in Reading is seeking a Graduate Sales Engineer to develop careers in technical sales, applications engineering and marketing. You will receive extensive training on NI products and our sales process, while helping customers solve complex engineering problems.

You will work with Account Managers, deliver demos, training, and customer configurations, travel to sites, and build a regional business plan.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical/Biomedical Eng.
• Long-term career in technical sales or eng
• Solid electronics, computers, and programming knowledge
• Relocate to Reading (UK) for 2+ years
• Willing to relocate in Europe for sales path
• Available for moderate travel
• English language proficiency and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Learn NI tools and sales process while supporting NI customers
• Partner with Account Manager to support sales, demos, training
• Balance inbound demand, marketing leads, and prospecting to build pipeline
• Develop test and measurement expertise for career growth
• Qualify demand and elevate opportunities to Account Managers
• Provide coaching and mentorship within the team
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, support, operations, and business units
• Travel to customer sites for training and product presentations
