Are you a graduate hoping to take your first step into education? Would you like to develop your classroom experience before completing your teacher training? An excellent primary school in Wokingham is seeking an ambitious and dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children in KS1 or KS2 with their learning and ensure a safe and positive environment for them to thrive in.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to kick-start their career in education or for an experienced teaching assistant to take the next step towards becoming a teacher. A graduate with previous experience working with children is desirable. Relevant experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sports setting, or in a similar classroom environment.

The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will be committed, enthusiastic, and passionate about working with children. In this role, you will support students in Key Stage 1 and 2, focusing on numeracy and literacy. You will take small groups to ensure children are on task and meeting learning objectives set by the teacher.
