Teaching Personnel are recruiting passionate and motivated graduates to work asTeaching AssistantsinSEN (Special Educational Needs)andSEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)school settings this September.

(Warrington / Wigan / Bolton / Salford Areas)

  • Support pupils aged 5–19 with additional needs including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and behavioural challenges

  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals

  • Help deliver tailored interventions and promote emotional regulation

  • Build positive relationships and support student development, both academically and personally

  • Opportunities available in specialist schools, sixth form provisions, and alternative education settings

  • A degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology, or a related field

  • A genuine interest in working with children and young people with SEN/SEMH needs

  • Strong communication, resilience, and a caring, consistent approach

  • Previous experience in care, youth work, tutoring, or schools (desirable but not essential)

  • Full-time roles starting inSeptember 2025
