Job summary

Milk Education is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Surrey, including Godalming, Guildford and surrounding areas. You will work in SEN settings, assisting teachers and pastoral teams to help learners access curriculum and develop confidence.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates with a passion for education, strong communication, patience and adaptability. Roles offer flexible full-time and part-time placements across local schools.

Qualifications

• A recent university graduate – all degree subjects considered.
• Genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, positive and adaptable approach.
• Experience with children, SEND or care settings is beneficial but not essential.
• Based in or able to commute to Guildford and surrounding Surrey areas.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Helping students access learning and develop confidence.
• Supporting children with additional learning needs.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions.
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and independence.
• Providing emotional and pastoral support where required.
