Job summary

Qualifications

• A degree (any subject) or proven experience with children, paired with a confident can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A professional presence and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Previous experience in education, youth work, coaching, or tutoring is helpful but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class learning alongside the teacher
• Work with small groups or 1:1 to help pupils stay focused and make progress
• Encourage positive behaviour and routines in line with school expectations
• Assist with phonics, reading, writing, and early numeracy activities
• Be a nurturing, reliable role model who helps children feel safe, supported, and confident
