Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Croydon
Location: Croydon
Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Start Date: September 2025
DBS: Ideally on the Update Service

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education? Do you have a passion for working with children and a desire to support their learning and development?

We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary/secondary school in Croydon seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to kick-start their career in education, whether you're considering teacher training in the future or simply want to make a real difference in the classroom.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting pupils across the classroom and in small intervention groups

  • Assisting students with SEND, EAL, or requiring additional learning support

  • Helping with lesson planning and resource preparation

  • Providing 1:1 support where needed

  • Contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment

What we're looking for:

  • A graduate (all degree backgrounds welcome)

  • A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude

  • A genuine interest in education and working with children

  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential

  • A DBS on the Update Service is highly desirable (or willingness to obtain one)
