Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant - Mainstream Primary for SEN TA role - Harlow

Have you recently graduated from university and are keen on a career in education? Do you have an interest in supporting children with Autism and other SEN needs?

Tradewind Recruitment currently works closely with a range of mainstream Primary Schools in Harlow that are looking for their next Graduate. These are full-time, term-time only roles and for the strongest candidates, will often lead to full-time employment with the school. Our schools are particularly interested in hearing from graduates with degrees in Maths, English, Psychology, or a creative subject. Other disciplines will also be considered as schools love working with graduates from university.

You will have the full support of the classroom teachers, Senior Leadership Team, and the SENCO to ensure you are successful in your role. A large part of your role will be supporting children with Autism or other learning needs both within and outside the classroom. We are looking for people with a genuine passion for childcare and education.

Daily Rate: £89-£100 per day (PAYE)

Location: Harlow

Start Date: September, role can be booked term by term if preferred.

Type of role: Longer term, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with children with SEN needs
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour using a range of techniques
• Build strong relationships with parents
• Find creative ways to ensure learners are engaged
