Graduate Teaching Assistants required
Brent, Camden, Westminster
ASAP and September 2025 start
95-110 per day

Veritas Education works with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants from all subject backgrounds to work in secondary schools across the boroughs of Brent, Camden, and Westminster. Roles are full time, term time only, and to start both immediately and from September 2025.

Graduate Teaching Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Proactively support students in reaching their academic targets.
  • Encourage active engagement with learning, fostering a positive classroom environment.
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and supporting student development.


As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be:

  • Engaging and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in education.
  • A confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Knowledgeable or experienced in supporting students with SEN and learning difficulties.
  • Patient, empathetic, and committed to the well-being of young people.
  • Reliable, proactive, and dedicated to helping students achieve their potential.
  • Able to work collaboratively with teachers and independently when required.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children and young people, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Relevant training or certifications (e.g. safeguarding, SEN, behaviour management).
  • A background in education, psychology, or related fields is beneficial.

Ideally, you will have some experience working with young people or be exploring a future career in education, such as teaching. We welcome applications from candidates from all subject areas.
